The ESPRESSO Fiber-Link allows feeding the spectrograph with light from astronomical objects from up to 4 ESO’s Very Large Telescopes (VLT) and a calibration source or from the reference sky.

AVS has produced the manufacturing drawings and Fabrication of the Fiber-link components. This subsystem is key to route light to the spectrograph through the vacuum vessel wall while merging light from one or several sources.
