MIRADAS Probe arms

The MXS probe arm of MIRADAS instrument is an optical mechanism that selects target fields-of-view, above the input telescope focal plane, and transmits them to the spectrograph.
AVS has manufactured 7 MIRADAS arms for the University of Florida. It consists on a motorized arm that works at 100 K and provides great positioning repeatability. It carries inside the required optics and mirrors to transmit the light through its body.
