Large vacuum chamber, 8m diameter, 5m high, 45T, with a custom valve for neutron TOF experiments, moving mass of 500 kg in vacuum, vacuum tight purposely designed valve.

The chamber is composed of 5 segments, 1 load gantry and 1 vertically movable window in the sample’s chamber segment. Perpendicularity of 0.05 for a length of 399 (mm) for joints extension, which is better than 0.3 as requested by Class H (ISO 2768 T2).
