FOCUSING MIRROR Focusing Mirror for 9-BM

AVS US has designed and delivered a bent toroidal focusing mirror with vacuum enclosure and remotely operated positioning system for use on the 9-BM beamline at the Advanced Photon Source.

The system shares an overall layout and many features with similar AVS US-designed focusing mirrors for 12-BM and 20-BM at the APS.

The stand of the present design is adaptable between two heights to accommodate the approaching changes under the APS-U upgrade program.
