This high heat load primary aperture is part of the front end of an undulator beamline. It is installed between two shutters and combines an aperture and a horizontal collimator. Both are water-cooled and were design for 250 mA operation at a 5.3 GeV machine, with a peak heat load of 155 W/mm2 totaling 2 kW.
