This front end shutter was designed and built by AVS US for CAMD.
The 4-way cross design allows removal of the pneumatic actuator and water-cooled absorber independently of the vacuum chamber, simplifying assembly and maintenance. The lower port can be used for pumping, additional diagnostics or blanked off.
Working pressure: UHV.
